Founders

Our Founders were true trailblazers who dared to create an organization that stood apart from the traditional Greek sorority structure during a pivotal time in American history. Founded during the height of the Civil Rights Movement and the rise of Afrocentric pride and cultural awareness, they envisioned a sisterhood rooted in service, unity, cultural consciousness, and empowerment without conforming to traditional Greek-letter affiliations. At a time when Black identity, activism, and self-expression were transforming communities across the nation, our Founders created a fellowship that embraced authenticity, sisterhood, and community impact while celebrating Black culture and excellence. Their courage, vision, and determination laid the foundation for an organization that continues to uplift communities and inspire generations of women to lead, serve, and preserve the legacy they established.
